November 7, 2018 – Well Deserved Recognition…

Work It Wednesday!

Continuing our conversation about success on the job, and the belief that recognition for a job well done should happen throughout the year, we hope to be able to continue to share success stories once a month. We are calling this “Work It Wednesdays”, and offer today’s story to kick it off.

If you wish to share a success story with us, please send them care of Michelle Sparling at michelles@networksfortraining.org.

Well Deserved Recognition…
November 7, 2018 – David T..

We all look forward to that time when we can retire. After years of a job well done, we plan for this next stage of our lives. Today we share David’s story of reaching this goal.

On September 22, 2004, David anxiously walked into his first day of work at ACME a little unsure about what the future would hold, but excited to pursue his employment dreams. Over the years, David became a fixture at ACME providing top notch customer service and ensuring a clean parking lot, free from carts and debris. David developed real and meaningful relationships with his coworkers and many regular customers.

This year, after 14 years of dedicated service to ACME, David made the exciting and difficult decision to retire. On his last day, David joyfully celebrated with his whole team and smiled ear to ear as he enjoyed his retirement party! When it was time to clock out for the last time, David walked out of ACME with his head high, certain that he achieved his employment dreams and ready for retirement!
