December 4th: Caring for Every Child – Jocelyn Williams

#workitwednesday!

We are kicking off Philadelphia’s new employment initiative – Connecting Talent to Opportunities – by continuing our celebration of people’s successes on the job in Philadelphia! We share these stories as part of our belief that recognition for a job well done should happen throughout the year.  We are calling this #workitwednesday — and offer this month’s story.

Please help us in highlighting the accomplishments of all people with disabilities who are employed or have their own business by submitting success stories.

Success stories can be submitted through the following link: https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/666Z55P.

December 4, 2019: Caring for Every Child – Jocelyn Williams

Picture of Jocelyn

Jocelyn works at Creative Kids Learning Center as a teacher’s aid. She loves what she does, and enjoys the friendships she is building with her co-workers.

Jocelyn works with children ages 1 – 4 years old. She assists the children while they are learning their ABC’s and numbers. She helps in whatever classroom needs her. She takes much pride and joy in interacting with the children and helping them learn and grow.

Jocelyn’s work does not go unseen, many parents and co-workers have acknowledged and complimented her great work. One component of Jocelyn’s work ethic that makes her an exceptional employee is that she brings an unconditional and authentic love to every child at the center.
