March 6th – Skills Under His Belt!

#workitwednesday!

As part of our belief that recognition for a job well done should happen throughout the year, we are  sharing success stories once a month.  We are calling this #workitwednesday — and offer this month’s story.

If you wish to share a success story with us, please send them care of Michelle Sparling at michelles@networksfortraining.org.

Skills Under His Belt!
March 6, 2019 – Mark O.

Mark O. has been a Front-End Associate at Weis Markets in the Philadelphia suburbs for over a year now.

This position is great for Mark since he proudly declares he is ready to help anyone at any time.  Mark creates a welcoming environment for store customers by ensuring the carts are stocked by the entrance, assisting shoppers carrying their groceries to their cars, and performing additional duties as requested.

Recently Mark received his OSHA Certification for the Electric Powered Pallet Jack. Having this skill under his belt allows him to work a few more hours during his preferred evening shift to unload skids arriving on the truck. Keep up the fantastic work Mark, you make us proud!
